Responsibilities include scheduling inbound/outbound loads, maximizing trailer utilization, preparing management reports, and selecting cost-effective courier options. A safety-focused leader with 3+ years in logistics will thrive.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production leadership experience.
• 3+ years of logistics/shipping experience.
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
• Focus on customer satisfaction and timely obligations.
• Aptitude to estimate costs for shipping and delivery.
• Commitment to safety in the workplace and reporting hazards.
• Ability to collaborate with managers, staff and vendors.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound loads and manage shipments.
• Maximize trailer utilization and reduce costs.
• Ensure subordinates work safely and contribute to a safety culture.
• Prepare daily and monthly management reports.
• Coordinate courier rates to select the lowest rate and stay within budget.
• Determine shipping priorities and methods for on-time delivery and service.
