$19.00/hr - $22.00/hr

POSITION TITLE: Shipping & Operations Associate

HOURS

20 Hours/ Week: Part-Time, Eligible for Full-Time

DAYS

3 days per week (M, W, F)

$19-$22 per hour

Position Summary

The Shipping & Operations Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of Josh.ai's daily business through well-defined processes, effective use of management software, and collaborative teamwork.

In this role, you will implement operational strategies with diligent planning, keen attention to detail, and the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously while maintaining a positive and energetic presence within the organization.

You will regularly interact with all stakeholders, including the Executive Team, peers, external partners, and clients, to streamline shipping operations, optimize business processes, and ensure a superior customer experience.

SCOPE OF POSITION

The Shipping & Operations Associate's primary responsibilities will focus on the following requirements. Additional requests will be made to support the Executive Team as necessary.

Daily Shipping Operations

Execute daily shipping processes to ensure minimal orders are held overnight and promptly shipped.

Process Optimization

Continuously analyze workflows to improve efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities, including researching third-party logistics platforms, e-commerce solutions, and shipping cost reductions.

Inventory Management

Accurately manage inbound and outbound inventory, track inventory movements, and prepare detailed reports to forecast demand.

Teamwork

Onboard and train new team members within the logistics organization as the company grows.

Office Manager

Responsible for ordering and keeping office supplies and snacks stocked. Watering plants and helping with other requests of the broader team.

Required Skills And Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.

Proficiency in spreadsheet software such as Excel or Google Sheets.

Familiarity with Mac OS, Windows, and presentation tools.

Preferred Skills

Prior experience in a start-up or high growth market

Passion for smart home, voice control, and AI technologies

Experience working with Quickbooks or an equivalent accounting system

Experience with a sales CRM

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
