Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Sales Operations Associate will support our commercial sales department with orders, quotes, contracts, proposal requests for customers, and forecasting. Organize and maintain systems utilized by the sales team. Track progress and recording of completion of contracts. You will be ensuring all contracts are completed in a timely manner, within the guidelines of the business to redline and provide input on commercial terms and conditions. Proactively respond to internal and external customers to ensure all parties are updated regularly on status. This is an entry-level remote position located in almost any US state. This position reports into the Head of Commercial Operations.

• Contract management: point person for managing all contracts within the business tools/software. Ensure all parties are notified of updates. Review documentation to ensure all necessary approvals are received and archive information as needed.
• Continuous Improvement Projects: as needs arise, be the point person for making improvements in the sales team. This could include, but is not limited to, organization for contracts, liaison between SFDC administrator and sales team for improved user experience, liaise with orders management around improvements, etc.
• Back-up for sales team: Engage with sales team as needed and have a solid understanding of the processes to act in the capacity as a backup if needed.
• Communications: Maintain content on the team drive and manage updates to the sales team. Engage with various stakeholders to enable content utilization company-wide. Assist with PowerPoint content development as needed.
• Event Planning: assist with planning and organizing sales meetings as needed throughout the year. Work with sales managers and external vendors on logistics of meetings.
• Travel 5%.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 1+ years of experience reading, assisting, or writing contracts in a working environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science (chemistry, biology, Life Science, or similar discipline)
• 2+ years of experience in a life science pharmaceutical or CRO environment
• Customer support experience
• Project management experience
• Experience in Microsoft applications
• Highly motivated
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience managing projects and holding stakeholders accountable for deliverables

Pay Range for this position: $62,500 - $117,100.

Our ranges are derived from several sources and largely rely on relevant industry market data. If we decide to make an offer, we will consider several factors, including but not limited to your location, skills, experience, career level, and other job-related factors. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including cash bonuses.
