Job summary

CandyCo in Springville, UT is seeking a Shipping Material Handler to support outbound shipping by preparing, labeling, and staging products for shipment. This entry-level role helps load trucks, verify lot codes, and ensure orders are accurate and on time under direct supervision.

You will learn CandyCo’s systems, operate handheld scanners and ERP/WMS, and work with the Logistics team to maintain safety, accuracy, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of forklift experience or similar material handling.
• 6+ months of shipping or warehouse experience.
• Ability to work under changing deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Pick, prepare, and stage CandyCo products for outbound shipments following FEFO practices.
• Assist with loading trucks.
• Build and wrap pallets to company and customer standards.
• Label cartons, pallets, or other shipping containers per specs.
• Use CandyCo systems and scanners for inventory movement and order completion.
• Verify counts against pick lists or documentation.
• Maintain a safe, clean dock and work area.
• Coordinate with Logistics to meet customer requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to shipping records.
