Job summary

Atlas Tube is seeking a Shipping Material Handler for our Chicago facility. The role focuses on moving, staging, and loading steel tube and pipe products with emphasis on safety and accuracy. The afternoon shift runs 3pm–11pm, with expectations to support fast-paced warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment.

You will operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment, verify orders, and maintain inventory flow. Strong communication and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse or material handling experience.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic math skills for order processing and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment.
• Load finished products onto trailers or carriers per shipping specs.
• Receive inbound materials and report damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe staging/shipping areas.
