Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Linn, MO is seeking a full-time Mail Services Specialist for our Shipping area. You will help package and dispatch books to customers nationwide, using RF equipment and forklifts, in a team environment.

Starting pay ranges from $18.25 to $24.50 per hour, depending on experience. Typical hours are 6:30a-3:00p on-site at our Linn facility with opportunities to train and advance.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging and shipping environment.
• Ability to learn to use a warehouse management system.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that address, weigh and generate shipping documents per zip code.
• Review shipping instructions to identify product placement.
• Unload finished product from conveyor line using RF equipment.
• Process and ship outgoing small packages for various carriers.
• Enter data into computerized systems and coordinate with Traffic/Operations.
• Use forklift and pallet jack; stretch wrap pallets; load/unload trailers.
