The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–5 years in a shipping environment, plus experience with packaging equipment and material handling. A PA driver’s license and forklift license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2–5 years in a shipping department.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Experience with shipping/receiving equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ship finished product to customers on time and prepare shipping papers.
• Coordinate with carriers to determine economical shipment method.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and perform basic cycle counting.
• Operate pallet stacker, tow motor, pallet truck and foam packaging equipment.
