Job summary

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH seeks a Logistics Specialist I - Shipping to support daily shipping and material movement in a GMP environment.

You will perform SAP transactions, track shipments, and maintain accurate records while complying with procedures and quality standards. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities to contribute to process improvements in a collaborative team. This is an on-site role with growth potential in a global biotech company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or related environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills; able to learn SAP, DMS, TrackWise.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete documentation thoroughly.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn cGMP requirements and regulated work environments.
• Strong communication and listening skills with a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP transactions including transfer orders, material movements, and finished goods issuance.
• Execute shipping and logistics activities to support production and customer requirements.
• Follow procedures and work instructions with strict adherence to quality and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and required documentation per GMP.
• Utilize SAP, DMS, and TrackWise to complete daily tasks and maintain records.
• Support inventory, shipping, and material handling within warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with team and support additional departmental responsibilities as needed.
