Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Nursery Logistics Associate to support shipping, logistics, and production for conifer nursery products in a hands-on environment. You will assist with scheduling and adapt packing plans to meet production timelines while helping with inventory and workflow.

Strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work with team members are essential; forklift operation is preferred and overtime may be required based on demand.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recent related experience with good work references.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Strong self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptable and organized in a frequently changing work environment.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, logistics, and production support for conifer nursery products.
• Assist with scheduling and logistics to meet production and customer needs.
• Adapt packing schedules to ensure all timelines are met.
• Assist with cooler/freezer mapping for efficiency and organization.
• Support shipping processes including loading trucks, creating BOLs, and inventory logistics.
• Assist with inventory management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Work with nursery techs on sowing, thinning, transplanting, and weeding as needed.
• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Possibility of alternate schedules and overtime based on production needs.
