Job summary

Brook & Whittle Limited is a leading North American provider of sustainable labeling solutions. The Shipping Clerk sorts and packages orders, coordinates truck shipments, and processes international shipments via the internet.

The role supports Shiprite processing and requires lifting heavy loads in a manufacturing environment. Shifts are 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 12:00pm–8:00pm, with pay between $16.40 and $18.00 per hour, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0 to 3 years of related experience typical.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes QA principals to ensure order quality and accuracy.
• Packages and labels orders per customer specs.
• Process shipments, including international and special shipments via the internet.
• Process Shiprite system shipments as needed.
• Lift and move heavy boxes and pallets with manual equipment.
• Return incomplete orders for press if quantities are insufficient.
• Modify orders in the OM retrieve system as needed.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipping requirements.
• Scan barcodes and move packed boxes to conveyors or pallets.
