Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to direct outside drivers, manage required paperwork, and send Advance Shipping Notices to customers. This role supports the FCA/Chrysler Smart and Ford DDL systems and performs general office responsibilities as directed by management.

The position emphasizes accurate ASN entries, adherence to customer requirements, and timely communication with customers, dispatchers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct outside drivers and manage required paperwork for shipments.
• Send Advance Shipping Notices (ASN) to customers to determine delivery ratings.
• Assist Analysts with shipping issues and support ERP/MRP and Ford DDL/FCA systems.
• Create and maintain shipping documentation, including ship-to data, part numbers, and PO numbers.
• Enter ASN confirmations accurately and timely per customer requirements.
• Communicate shipping status and route/part changes to customers and dispatchers.
