Job summary

Airgas is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator in Houston, TX to manage daily logistics for welding equipment rental. Responsibilities include forklift operations, coordinating shipping/receiving, maintaining inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation.

You will collaborate with technicians and drivers to support timely customer service and safe operations. Ideal candidates have forklift experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within protocol-driven

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with UPS Software, Bill of Ladings, LTL Carriers, Expediting Shipments.
Greater than five years of experience in the Rental, Retail or Related industry.
Equipment repair and maintenance training would be a benefit.
Forklift operation as well as rigging and securing loads.
Relationship building: communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Load and unload equipment with forklift.
Coordinate shop operations.
Safely manage all branch logistics including shipping, receiving, parts, and equipment inventory.
Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents.
Assist with loading/unloading of goods from trucks.
Review incoming goods against invoices or packing slips.
