Job summary

Superior Dairy, a subsidiary of Michigan Milk Producers Association, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support the Canton operations team. You will handle shipping documentation, coordinate with drivers and customers, and maintain accurate records to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires a high school diploma and 6 months to 1 year of related experience; prior work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 1 year shipping/logistics/administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, dairy environment is a plus.
• Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
• Aptitude for acquiring and applying new knowledge.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate finished product shipping activities and maintain shipping documentation.
• Communicate with carriers, customers, and dispatch personnel.
• Assist with inventory and office operations; support cross-functional tasks.
• Ensure accuracy of shipping paperwork and logs; verify before driver departure.
• Stage trailers, coordinate loading per routes, and maintain records in company systems.
• Provide vacation coverage for related roles and support month-end/year-end processes.
