Job summary

Applied Biological Materials (abm) Inc. in Ferndale, WA is seeking a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to manage daily shipping, receiving, and inventory operations onsite.

You will prepare labels, verify orders, and coordinate with Vancouver team. The role requires experience in shipping platforms (FedEx/UPS/DHL), proficiency with Excel and Outlook, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to lift shipments as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior shipping/receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with FedEx/UPS/DHL or other carriers is an asset.
• Experience with dry ice or temperature‑sensitive shipments is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time‑management.
• Dependable and able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to safely lift and move packages and warehouse supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping labels, AWBs and related documentation for daily orders.
• Pick, verify, pack and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Prepare dry ice, ice packs and ambient shipments according to procedures.
• Receive, inspect, organize and maintain incoming inventory and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities and lot numbers.
• Perform inventory counts, replenishment and transfers.
• Track shipments and assist with shipping or delivery issues.
• Coordinate daily fulfillment and inventory with the Vancouver Logistics team.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and follow SOPs for shipping and inventory.
• Support other logistics, warehouse and operational activities as required.

As part of our continued global expansion, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator for a hands-on, onsite role supporting daily shipping, receiving, order fulfillment and inventory operations at our Ferndale, WA facility

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping labels, Air Waybills (AWBs), and related documentation for daily orders.
• Pick, verify, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Prepare dry ice, ice pack, and ambient-temperature shipments according to established procedures.
• Receive, inspect, organize, and maintain incoming inventory and warehouse supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including quantities, lot numbers, and storage locations.
• Perform inventory counts, stock replenishment, and inventory transfers.
• Track shipments and assist with shipping or delivery issues.
• Coordinate daily fulfillment and inventory activities with the Vancouver Logistics team.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and follow all shipping, inventory, and safety SOPs.
• Support other logistics, warehouse and operational activities as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management preferred.
• Experience with FedEx, UPS, DHL, or other carrier shipping platforms is an asset.
• Experience with dry ice or temperature-sensitive shipments is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Dependable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely lift and move packages and warehouse supplies as required.

Compensation

• USD $40,000–$50,000 per year, commensurate with qualification and experience
• Semi-annual performance-based bonus
• Medical and dental benefits, paid time off, paid holidays

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• 100% onsite
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work onsite in Ferndale from the first day of employment
