Schulte Staffing Solutions in Reading, MA is seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk for a well-established manufacturing company. This role combines hands-on warehouse tasks with administrative shipping duties.

You will prepare outgoing shipments, coordinate freight carriers, maintain inventory records, and handle shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, ASNs, and commercial invoices. Forklift operation and computer-based shipping systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping and warehouse tasks, including receiving and stocking.
• Forklift certification required; training provided for additional equipment as needed.
• Experience preparing LTL shipments and coordinating freight carriers is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Bills of Lading, ASNs, commercial invoices, and shipping documentation is a plus.
• Comfortable using computers and shipping software to manage documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished goods into inventory and maintain organized stock locations.
• Prepare, package, and process outgoing shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate shipments with freight companies and parcel carriers.
• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
• Prepare and process shipping documents (BOLs, invoices, export declarations).
• Submit Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASNs) as required.
• Generate barcode labels and maintain accurate shipping and inventory records.
• Utilize shipping software to track shipments and documentation.
• Communicate with Production, Quality, and Materials to coordinate shipping requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe shipping and warehouse environment.
