Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Shipping/Logistics Clerk to support order processing and coordination in a fast-paced distribution environment. This on-site role is located on the NE side of Des Moines and offers responsive handling of customer orders and shipments.

Starting pay is $18.75 per hour with Monday-Friday shifts, potential Saturday OT, and standard administrative duties including documentation and reporting.

Shipping/Logistics Clerk

Our client is looking for a Logistics Clerk. This position is located on the NE side of Des Moines.

Starting Pay: $18.75 / hour

Hours: 9:00am/10:00-6:30/7:30pm (Monday-Friday, Occasional Saturdays and OT)

Duties:

1. Processes and troubleshoot customer orders. Resolve order discrepancies as needed.
2. Coordinate and update warehouse employees regarding new and modified orders.
3. Review shipping and receiving reports to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
4. Processes, audits and files various documentation.

Requirements:

1. 1+ year of experience working in a customer service role within a logistics or distribution environment.
2. Strong knowledge with BOLs.
3. Strong customer service skills and attitude.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Basic computer skills.
