Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a dependable Shipping & Logistics Associate in Mentor, OH, with a schedule 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. This fulltime role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and hands-on work in a busy shipping environment.

You will pack parts, track orders, prepare shipping docs, coordinate with warehouse and management, and resolve shipping issues while learning our processes and systems. Prior shipping or warehouse experience helps, but we will train the right person.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Package parts and prepare orders for shipment according to customer requirements.
• Use computer software, portals, and systems to track, review, prioritize, and route orders.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (bills of lading, pick slips, ASN, etc.).
• Coordinate flow from preparation to shipment to ensure on-time delivery.
• Inspect labels, barcodes, packaging, and other order details before shipping.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and management to keep shipping operations smooth.
• Research and help resolve issues related to shipped orders.
• Follow company procedures and customer requirements; communicate activity to management.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
