Job summary

Texas Pipe And Supply Company is seeking an experienced loader/burner to support shipping operations in Winnie, TX. You will load materials, operate forklifts and related equipment, and ensure accurate documentation for shipments.

The role requires reading industry specs, basic computer skills, and the ability to work safely with lifting requirements. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; you will work with the shipping team to meet daily deadlines.

Qualifications

• Speak and read English. Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• 1+ years PVF industry experience.
• Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts, and tables.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills. Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
• Ability to drive forklift and secure certification.
• Must have average reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. with back support.
• Able to stand and operate a variety of equipment as assigned.
• Takes initiative and can work independently.
• Requires a high level of attention to detail.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• In addition to the Responsibilities of 'Order Burner/Loader':
• Ensure designated equipment is in proper working condition (forklifts, pickers, crane, hand tools, etc.).
• Effectively communicates with department supervisors.
• Visually inspects all material to identify any non-conformances.
• Ensure all material is protected from potential damage that could occur during transit.
• Packages material securely.
• Utilizes Pick Ticket information to accurately verify and record information on shrink-wrapped pallets.
• Properly matches shipments to the loading forms ensuring vehicles are loaded with the correct material.
• Photographs loaded product (photo verification).
• Properly fills out information required on pick ticket and accompanying forms.
• Attends safety meetings to identify departmental issues and discuss ways to correct them.
• Identifies areas of improvement while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Duties are not limited to those described above and may be expanded as needed.
