Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow verbal and hand signal instructions to identify pipe to be moved.
• Verify heat numbers, quantity, and complete chocking of pipe.
• Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Paint, stencil, sandblast, or coat pipes.
• Observe safety precautions and wear PPE at all times.
• Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other areas as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping in the assigned work area.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor/manager.
