Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Ohio is hiring a Loader/Unloader I to move glass and metal products within the plant, loading and unloading from tables, racks, trucks, or crates while ensuring safe handling. You will prepare orders for delivery, follow supervision guidance, and attach labels.

Candidates should be 18+, able to read and communicate, lift up to 75 lbs, stand 8–10 hours, and work overtime as needed in a production setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize deadlines; ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand on a concrete floor for 8-10 hours per day.
• Noise levels in the work environment can be moderate to high.
• The plant facility is subject to the same climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.).

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates
• Preparing orders for delivery (organizing, securing glass for transport)
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
