Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Loader/Unloader I to move glass and metal products within the plant, loading and unloading from trucks and racks. You will prepare orders for delivery, secure items for transport, and follow supervisor instructions to keep operations smooth.

The role emphasizes attention to safety, quality, and efficiency in a production setting, with opportunities to grow within a leading architectural glass company. Starting pay is $24.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines; overtime possible.
• Work performed inside a production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
• Moderate to high noise levels in work environment.
• Plant climate conditions: heat, cold, humidity.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Preparing orders for delivery (organizing, securing glass for transport).
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
