Job summary

Perdue Farms Inc. is seeking a Shipping Loader to move poultry products safely to trailers. You will operate power equipment, assist with loading, and maintain accurate documentation while following all safety procedures.

The role is on-site in a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on teamwork, safety compliance, and efficient shipment flow. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
• Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow process safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Work at various stations along the production line processing poultry food products.
• Adhere to all safety requirements including PPE, preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout-Tagout procedures and Process Safety Management related matters.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in company and department safety programs.
• Operate an electric jack to load 2,500 cases of palletized products per 8-hour shift.
• Document on a load diagram of products placed on trailers and positions.
