Job summary

Allen Harim Foods is seeking a Shipping Loader to load fresh and frozen poultry onto trailers in a refrigerated environment. You will verify counts, labels, and pallet configurations, and operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely while maintaining product integrity.

You will support staging, inventory counts, and collaborate with shipping staff to ensure on-time shipments; flexibility for weekends/holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, manufacturing, or food processing experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced refrigerated environment.
• Ability to read shipping labels, product codes, and basic documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load poultry products onto trailers according to shipping schedules and orders.
• Verify counts, labels, pallet configurations and shipment accuracy.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain product integrity and prevent damage during loading.
• Assist with staging pallets and organizing in coolers and freezers.
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and proper temperature before loading.
• Follow USDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA, sanitation and company safety requirements.
• Report damaged product, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns.
• Support inventory counts and other warehouse duties as needed.
• Collaborate with shipping clerks, forklift operators, supervisors, and transport staff.
