Tower Extrusions, LLC is hiring a Shipping Loader (Crane) at our Wylie, TX facility. You will safely load outbound trailers, stage material, and coordinate with the shipping team throughout the shift.

This role requires certification to operate an overhead crane, and at least one year of crane experience. Lifting up to 50 pounds and overtime shifts are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be certified, or become certified, to operate an overhead crane through the safety department.
• Preferred: 1+ year of verifiable crane experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds and move about the plant and yard.
• Must be able to work required overtime; day and night shifts available.

Responsabilités

• Complete daily crane inspection checklists and report safety issues immediately.
• Perform operator-level preventive maintenance on the crane.
• Coordinate with the shipping supervisor and shipping clerk on assigned loads.
• Sort and stage bundles on the shipping floor for loading.
• Report damaged bundles immediately.
• Build loads based on bundle weight, bundle dimensions, and dies in bundles.
• Secure loads with belly straps, corner protectors, and sufficient strapping for transport within the yard.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the shipping supervisor or manager.

Tower Extrusions, LLC. is a privately owned aluminum extrusion company that has been in business for over 40 years. We have seen tremendous growth over that time and are looking to add to our team at our Wylie, TX location.

We are hiring a Shipping Loader (Crane) to safely load outbound trailers at our Wylie, TX facility. This role stages material, builds safe and stable loads, and works closely with the shipping supervisor and shipping clerk throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily crane inspection checklists and report safety issues immediately
• Perform operator-level preventive maintenance on the crane
