Job summary

Mars Lebanon, TN is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to support production by staging, auditing and shipping finished goods and packaging. You will operate forklifts, maintain 5S standards, and coordinate daily with a team of 3–5 associates to ensure on-time material availability.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, with strong planning, safety and customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Forklift certified.

• 1–2 years logistics/transportation experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing facility preferred.
• Experience as a Team Lead preferred.
• Experience with warehouse/transportation management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and quality in warehouse and shipping operations.
• Maintain WPT Zone 4 in Blue warehouse.
• Operate forklifts safely (3-wheel sit-down, 4-wheel sit-down, stand-up).
• Adhere to safety, quality, and food service requirements.
• Minimize downtime in materials supply to Operations.
• Ensure finished product is stacked correctly and defect-free.
• Maintain 5S and daily housekeeping.
• Conduct quality verifications and load verifications.
• Prepare trailers for loading and label inventory accurately.
• Provide escalation paths for Shipping team and guide a team of 3–5 associates.
• Support shipping by moving materials and coordinating trailer loads.
• Report issues to Warehouse Coordinator/Shift Manager/Flow Manager.
• Assist in inventory accuracy and cycle counts.
• Verify all documentation including quality, production, and sanitation records.
• Ensure MSS is executed and conduct changeovers with oncoming/offgoing teams.
• Drive 5S improvements in shipping/warehouse.
• Oversee forklift charging and rack inspections.
