Huber Engineered Woods is seeking a Shipping Lead to oversee daily shipping operations, coordinate truck and railcar loading, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and support cross-functional communication. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of shipping experience, a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and knowledge of Oracle/ERP systems to maintain inventory accuracy and shipping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing or shipping experience.
• Previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Trackmobile experience preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping and warehouse operations.
• Experience loading trucks and railcars.
• Understanding of centerbeam railcar loading and load securement.
• Basic Oracle or ERP experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple shipments.
• Leadership and coaching skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Ability to read shipping paperwork, bills of lading, and load plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping operations and team on assigned shift.
• Coordinate loading of trucks and railcars and verify orders.
• Ensure loads are accurate, labeled, and documented.
• Monitor trailer/railcar condition and load security.
• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, Customer Service, and Warehouse.
• Assist with Oracle shipping transactions and inventory accuracy.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and escalate when needed.
• Support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Promote safety culture and on-time shipments.
