Job summary

Mt Olive Pickles is seeking a Shipping Lead Order Puller/Forklift Operator for a 2-day shift. The role supports the Shipping Supervisor, overseeing order pullers and the shipping office on weekends and holidays, while also driving between facilities and ensuring order accuracy and inventory control.

Qualified candidates are certified forklift operators with English literacy, good communication skills, and knowledge of MOPICO warehousing systems. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school plus additional training preferred.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions.
• Ability to speak, read and write in English; conversational Spanish a plus.
• Certified forklift operator.
• Valid NC driver's license with good driving record.
• Extensive knowledge of MOPICO warehousing systems.

Responsibilities

• Opens warehouse and oversees order pullers and shipping office during weekends and holidays.
• Directs order pullers in daily operations and job tasks.
• Drives personal vehicle between Distribution Center and other warehouses or main plant.
• Assists in verifying staged orders for accuracy before shipment.
• Verifies code date information for Quality Control.
• Works with Inventory Control Team for rotation and usage.
• Keeps Distribution Center clean and orderly.
• Follows safety rules and company policies.
• Performs duties of Forklift Operator and Order Puller as needed.
• Performs cycle counts as needed.
