Job summary

Mt Olive Pickles is seeking a Cutting Forklift Operator for the Day Shift to safely operate a forklift and transport raw materials, product, and supplies in the cutting department. Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Basic arithmetic skills including addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move raw materials, product, and supplies.
• Complete pre-operational checklist before using the forklift.
• Report forklift damage or malfunctions to supervisor.
• Maintain proper volume of product in wet hopper at all times.
• Dump product and inspect hopper for foreign objects after each load.
• Set up washer, vibrator and hopper; ensure conveyors are running smoothly.
• Fill wet hoppers with water or brine and regulate product flow into the plant.
• Verify product quality and notify supervisor of any issues.
