Responsibilities

• Prepares items for shipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Leads shipping staff.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Moves bread/bun stacks to shipping dock using a two-wheel cart.
• Breaks down stacks of product for depot locations.
• Shuttles bread trays and materials to staging area.
• Unloads semi-trailers; routes shipments; records shortages; coordinates with shipper to resolve damages.
• Loads cased bread/bun products onto pallets.
• Operates electric pallet jack to move materials to shipping dock.
• Operates stretch wrap bander to palletize products for shipment.
• Performs computer functions to track goods.
• Works efficiently within a busy dispatch department.
• Creates shipping labels and handles shipping information.
• Collaborates with the shipping team to complete orders promptly.
