Job summary

Four Hands is seeking a Shipping Lead to coordinate daily shipping operations, supervise a shift, and ensure accurate, safe, on-time order fulfillment. The role requires leadership in a fast-growing furniture company with a shift from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in warehouse/shipping, a high school diploma, experience with WMS, Excel, and Outlook, and strong communication and organizational skills. Steel-toed boots are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of warehouse, distribution, shipping, or lead experience.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with shipping operations and warehouse systems.
• Strong communication, problem solving, organization, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shipping activities with the team to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Supervise, train, and coach Shipping Associates on shift.
• Oversee outbound shipping, ensuring orders are picked, packed, staged, and loaded on time.
• Verify shipments against sales orders and packing lists and document with WMS.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies, shortages, damages, and order exceptions.
• Ensure SOPs and safety requirements are followed and monitor daily workloads.
• Collaborate with Transportation and Inventory teams and participate in stand-up meetings.
• Ensure facilities stay clean, organized, and secure at end of day.
