Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 3–5 years of shipping/receiving experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of team lead experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• Experience using inventory or MRP systems, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments, print labels, verify weights and accuracy.
• Package products ensuring quality and integrity.
• Oversee outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain finished goods inventory and correct storage locations.
• Review and validate shipping and inventory transactions in the MRP system.
• Support shipping supervisor and team members on daily tasks.
• Assist with loading trucks and preparing shipments for delivery.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Shipping Lead

Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:30 PM

We are seeking a dependable, motivated Shipping Lead to help lead daily shipping operations under the Shipping supervisor. This position is responsible for coordinating daily workloads, ensuring shipments are accurate and on time, maintaining inventory, and promoting a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments, print shipping labels, and verify package weights.
• Package products while ensuring quality and product integrity.
• Oversee outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain finished goods inventory and ensure products are stored in the correct inventory locations.
• Review and validate shipping and inventory transactions in the MRP system.
• Support shipping department Supervisor and employees.
• Assist with loading trucks and preparing shipments for delivery.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

This position does not directly supervise other employees.

Qualifications

Required:

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment.
