Job summary

Ludlow Manufacturing invites you to join our team as Shipping Lead. You will coordinate daily shipping operations under the Shipping supervisor, ensuring accuracy and on-time deliveries while maintaining inventory accuracy.

The role requires 3–5 years in shipping/receiving with at least 2 years leading a team, forklift certification, and proficiency with MRP/inventory systems. Enjoy a stable full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of team lead experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience using inventory or MRP systems.

• Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipments, print shipping labels, and verify package weights.
• Package products while ensuring quality and product integrity.
• Oversee outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain finished goods inventory and ensure products are stored in the correct inventory locations.
• Review and validate shipping and inventory transactions in the MRP system.
• Support shipping department Supervisor and employees.
• Assist with loading trucks and preparing shipments for delivery.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• This position does not directly supervise other employees.

Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
