Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Shipping Lead. This position is expected to coordinate and process shipments and deliveries of finished goods. They are also expected to oversee the shipping department in the absence of the shipping supervisor. The shipping lead is responsible for the daily shipping needs and maintains direct communication with customer service representatives.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping department in the absence of the Shipping Supervisor.
• Review daily reports and metrics and process work accordingly.
• Coordinate and process shipments and deliveries of finished goods.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Communicate daily with customer service representatives.

Education And Experiences

• High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with AS400/Jobscope.
• Possess higher-level computer skills and be competent with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain an organized area.
• Able to concentrate, focus, and pay strict attention to detail to fulfill roles and responsibilities.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection.
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds.
