Job summary

VETERINARY SERVICE INC is seeking a shipping associate at the Beaver Dam, WI location responsible for invoicing and manifesting shipments, pulling and packing products, and ensuring regulatory compliance with RX labeling.

The role requires high school education with math and computer operations, forklift certification, and ability to operate a computer with minimal supervision. Lifting up to 60 pounds may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma with courses in math and computer operations.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret pick tickets; write business correspondence via email.
• Ability to operate a computer, forklift certified, work with minimal supervision, follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately invoice customers for products being shipped using computerized shipping software.
• Track packages through UPS, Speedee and Fed Ex.
• Accurately pulling products from shelves.
• Applying RX labels to applicable product to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Carefully packaging product to be shipped to our customers.
• Labeling and stocking shelves with newly received products.
• LEAN processes: dusting, sweeping, organizing ice packs.
• Pull orders for the route department.
• Pull and pack store orders and carry out orders for customers as necessary.
• Perform light assembly / light production work and other projects
• Assist with inventory and inventory prep
• Other duties as assigned
