Job summary

SanMar recruiting a Shipping Clerk to verify, log, invoice, tag and load shipments, including special PSST and R&L orders. You will work with drivers, account executives and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate fulfillment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong data entry and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. Training includes lift certification updates every three years and a safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, labels and SKU information.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Invoice, tag and load customer shipments accurately and on time.
• Verify orders and charges for invoicing and loading, including PSST and R&L shipments.
• Create parcel or freight invoices with attention to shipping charges and deadlines.
• Respond to inquiries by phone or e-mail and use RF units with the internal system.
• Safely lift and stack cases, load pallets, and operate in a high-volume environment.
