Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is hiring a Bun Shipping Utility Person to support daily shipping, inventory, and material handling. You will determine priority tasks at each shift start and perform a wide range of duties to keep High-Bay, Looper, and shipping activities running smoothly, Monday through Friday, 7AM-3PM.

Required: High School diploma or GED and 6 months in manufacturing; 3 months operating heavy machinery preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize tasks at shift start.
• Experience with inventory tagging, scanning, and cycle counting.
• Familiarity with conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Ability to operate cranes or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Assess and set shift priorities at start of each shift.
• Handle bun inventory tagging, scanning, locating, and counting.
• Move foam via conveyors and assist with routing.
• Operate Looper crane to position foam inventory safely.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and document results.
• Cover for truck line and crane operators as needed.
• Clear pour line after daily VISCO pours and prep for next cycle.
• Support shipping tasks: staging, labeling, pallet movement, orders.
• Coordinate with supervisors and teammates to smooth workflow.
• Uphold safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
