Job summary

Marquee Staffing is hiring a Shipping & Inventory Specialist in Carlsbad, CA for a 40-hour workweek. This dual‑role supports warehouse operations and inventory management, ensuring coordination across departments in a fast‑paced environment.

You will prepare products for shipping, create labels, unload and store supplies, stage inventory, perform cycle counts, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while paying close attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Prior retail or product handling experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to stand or work in a production environment most of the shift (95%).
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Willing to work some nights, weekends, or holidays with advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer products for shipping based on packaging guidelines.
• Create individual shipping labels for customer products.
• Unload and store supply orders for the shipping department.
• Organize proper storage of merchandise on shelves.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area within the department, including disposal of packaging materials.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Stage and prep inventory to be put away, verify product details.
• Pull inventory for order fulfillment.
• Organize and store inventory in properly identified locations.
• Cycle count inventory to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Fulfill inventory pull requests for various business needs.

This dual‑role position ensures seamless coordination between shipping and inventory functions, providing coverage and continuity across departments as needed. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

Shipping Duties:

• o Prepare customer products for shipping based on company packaging guidelines
• o Create individual shipping labels for customer products
• o Unloading and storage of supply orders for the shipping department
• o Organize proper storage of merchandise to be stored on the shelves
• o Maintain a clean and organized work area within the department, including proper disposal of packaging materials
• o Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

Inventory Duties:

• o Staging and prepping inventory to be put away, including verification of product details
• o Pull inventory for order fulfillment
• o Organizing and storing inventory in properly identified locations
• o Cycle count inventory to maintain inventory accuracy
• o Fulfilling inventory pull requests for various business needs

Work Shift:
