Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL seeks an Inventory Control Associate to ensure inventory accuracy, validate data, and coordinate cycle counts across production and warehouse teams.

You will review schedules, resolve discrepancies, and uphold documented best practices while supporting management. This full-time role requires 18+ and strong computer skills; flexibility for nonstandard hours and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of manufacturing plant or distribution experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
• Ability to work Sundays after month-end closes, nights, weekends, holidays or extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory accuracy.
• Validate and maintain all inventory data and bookkeeping records.
• Coordinate cycle count and other physical inventory processes.
• Communicate inventory concerns to production management and other departments.
• Interact daily with production and warehouse associates.
• Investigate potential areas of concern.
• Review daily production schedules to ensure efficiency.
• Uphold documented best practices.
• Accept additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Perform other duties as needed.
