Job summary

Atlas Fibre in Northbrook, IL is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Manager to lead our warehouse team and ensure a smooth flow of materials and finished goods. This hands-on leadership role focuses on accuracy, on-time delivery, and cost-efficient operations.

You will manage shipping/receiving clerks and warehouse staff, coordinate with production, procurement, and sales, and use ERP/WMS systems to track shipments and maintain records.

Qualifications

3–5 years in shipping/receiving or warehouse management.
Proven leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Experience with ERP/WMS systems and MS Office.
Familiarity with domestic and international freight regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee inbound and outbound shipments with accurate docs.
Lead shipping/receiving clerks and warehouse staff.
Coordinate with production, procurement and sales to align schedules.
Monitor inventory with cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
Ensure safety, cleanliness and OSHA compliance.
Utilize ERP system to track shipments and generate reports.
