Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be willing to work overtime hours during the week and weekends as needed.
• Must comply with all plant safety policies.
• Must speak, read and write English.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment as required.
• Must be willing to obtain certification after training.
• Lift up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 75 pounds with assistance.
• Stand/walk up to 10 hours per day; work on warehouse floor.
• Must wear required PPE.
• Attention to detail and solid decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack and load products for shipment safely and efficiently.
• Document shipment freight characteristics and complete forms.
• Un/loading and loading trailers safely.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts safely.
• Reposition trailers using material handling equipment.
• Process packages through FEDEX/UPS systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory and Kanban systems.
• Perform shipping audits to ensure accuracy.
