Rodney Hunt is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to organize daily shipping operations for gates and water control systems. This role involves coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and maintaining accurate shipping logs to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in shipping/logistics, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP systems. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 lbs in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Proficient with shipping processes and documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule outbound shipments for gates, components, and water control equipment.
• Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and freight labels per requirements.
• Coordinate with freight carriers (LTL, FTL, heavy haul) for transportation.
• Ensure shipments are securely packed and tracked, and update logs and records.
• Verify contents against work orders and invoices; maintain accuracy with inventory teams.
• Monitor freight costs and support cost-efficient shipping decisions.
• Assist with loading trucks and coordinating with warehouse staff as needed.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
