Job summary

LifePort in Woodland, WA seeks a Shipping & Inventory Clerk II to manage inventory items purchased and produced, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment. The role requires forklift experience and collaboration with production teams.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, stock control, material handling with forklift/pallet jack, and processing work orders. You will coordinate shipments, including hazmat and international, while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years forklift experience.
• 3–5 years in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
• Compiles inventory information to determine stock and replenishment needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and safety stock; notify supervisor or manager.
• Assist Production and QC with manufacturing related issues.
• Maintain material on shelves and shop floor.
• Place stocking orders, re-orders and special orders.
• Assist with loading/unloading materials using forklift or pallet jack.
• Chemical management including stocking and expiration dates.
• Process work orders including picking and issuing.
• Daily cycle counts and count sheet creation.
• Bin stock control and replenishment.
• Material logistics between locations; delivery and pickup.
• Verify outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment (including international and hazmat).
• Resolve inventory and work order discrepancies.

Position Overview

Maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced.

Essential Functions

• Compiles inventory information such as consumption rate, characteristics, value, and stock on hand to determine stock supply and need for replenishment
• Monitor sales and inventory levels to determine level of safety stock and provide notification to supervisor or manager
• Assists Production and QC with manufacturing related issues
• Maintain material on shelves and shop floor
• Place stocking orders, re-orders and special orders
• Assist with loading / unloading materials from trucks with use of forklift and / or pallet jack
• Chemical management to include stocking, and checking expiration dates
• Work order processing to include order picking and issuing work orders
• Daily Cycle Counts – create count sheets
• Bin Stock Control and Replenishment
• Material logistics between multiple locations – delivery and pick-up
• Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment including international and hazmat
• Resolve inventory and work order discrepancies

Education, Certifications and Experience

Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
