JBS Prepared Foods in Council Bluffs, IA is hiring for a Shipping Department role. Operate a forklift, perform pre-shift inspections, move tubs, and organize coolers in a refrigerated environment.

We offer a starting wage of $22.90 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential on 2nd shift, weekly pay, paid vacation after 60 days, full benefits after 60 days, and free community college for employees and dependents.

Essential Functions of the Position:

• Operate Forklift


• Perform Daily pre-shift inspections


• Move tubs with forklifts


• Organize cooler


• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment / Physical Demands

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.


• Standing for extended periods of time


• Able to lift 40 lbs.


• Work in a fast paced environment, with repetitive motion work


• Ability to work overtime as assigned

Experience / Work History

• Forklift experience preferred


• Previous manufacturing experienceREQUIRED.
