Job summary

Highline Warren, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to safely operate forklifts and MH equipment, record movements in the warehouse management system, and load/unload materials across trailers and shelves. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and proactive housekeeping.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and a forklift license; experience in warehouse operations is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Experience in a warehouse environment and knowledge of safety procedures.
Must have physical strength to move and lift heavy materials.
Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and other material handling equipment.
Proficiency with handheld devices to access WMS.
Adherence to PPE requirements and safety rules.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic and document outcomes.

Responsibilities

Safely use powered industrial trucks and other machinery to transport materials and products.
Use the WMS to record movement of materials and products.
Safely load and unload trailers, shelves, racks, and pallets.
Inventory materials and products and record weights.
Weigh materials and record weights on tags and schedules.
Perform daily safety checks on material handling equipment.
Maintain clean work area and equipment.
Suggest improvements to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
Communicate openly with supervisor on important matters.
