Job summary

You will perform daily safety checks, maintain tidy work areas, and support continuous improvement initiatives while complying with all policies.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with warehouse work environment and safety procedures.
• Ability to move and lift heavy materials as required.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Use handheld computer to access WMS and record movements.
• Wear PPE and follow security and safety policies.
• Perform basic math for inventory and weights.
• Understand written instructions and complete documentation.
• Communicate clearly with teammates and supervisors.
• Deliver work on time with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial trucks and other machinery to transport materials and products.
• Use the WMS to record movement of materials accurately.
• Load and unload trailers, shelves, racks, and pallets safely.
• Inventory materials and products as required.
• Weigh materials and record weights on tags and schedules.
• Conduct daily safety check-off sheets on equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce costs or increase productivity.
• Communicate with supervisor and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Attend work regularly and arrive on time.
