Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Shipping Coordinator in Colorado to support daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate order fulfillment. The role involves operating scales and forklifts, stacking shipments, and maintaining inventory through routine reporting.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a cold environment, and pass a basic assessment. The position offers a base hourly rate of $26.25 and comprehensive benefits after the introductory period.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages.
• Ability to pass a Prove It test.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Valid forklift and pallet jack license or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to learn new procedures and equipment (e.g., barcode scanner).
• Familiarity with computer systems.
• Ability to work variable hours and maintain excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general operation and basic maintenance of the auto scale.
• Performs manual scaling at the reweigh station, including operation and basic maintenance.
• Stack boxes weighing 45-50 pounds on pallets by product code.
• Assist with rework by repairing cases or identifying cases for return.
• Assures inventory accuracy by submitting daily scale adjustment reports.
• Keep area clean by performing daily sanitation.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Loads trucks with equipment and by hand up to 50 pounds per case.
• Ability to fill customer orders accurately using Telxon equipment.
