Job summary

Anchor Fabrication in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Forklift Operator for our Shipping department. You will perform daily operations and safety checks, move materials, and support production schedules while maintaining high quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year forklift experience in manufacturing, solid basic computer skills, and a clean driving record. You must be dependable, alert, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment in our fabrication shop.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of forklift experience in manufacturing.
• Basic computer knowledge and understanding.
• Clean driving record with no property damage accidents within the past three years
• Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills
• Dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have previous experience with Sheet Metal
• Satisfactorily pass in-company forklift certification program

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations and safety checks, including battery, seat belt, brakes, life control and fire extinguisher.
• Identify many types of raw material, in process or finished product, equipment, or processing materials.
• Check identification of materials to be moved. Cross-references with production schedule or shipping schedule to ensure accuracy.
• Proceed safely to assigned area to pull load and move materials to correct work area.
• Report inconsistencies or problems to supervisors
• Other duties assigned
