Job summary

Anchor Fabrication has an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator in our Laser Cutting department. The role is full-time, based in Fort Worth, TX, and requires 1+ year forklift experience in manufacturing along with general computer skills and a clean driving record.

The operator will move products and materials, perform safety checks, and work in a fast-paced, quality-centered setting that supports the company’s national growth. Experience with sheet metal is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of forklift experience in manufacturing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Clean driving record with no property damage accidents within the past three years.
• Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and mature enough to handle equipment safely and sensibly.
• Satisfactorily pass in-company forklift certification program.
• Experience with Sheet Metal.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily forklift operations and safety checks.
• Identify many types of raw material, in process or finished product, equipment, or processing materials.
• Check identification of materials to be moved and cross-reference with production/shipping schedule for accuracy.
• Move loads to the correct work area following the schedule.
• Report inconsistencies or problems to supervisors.
• Other duties assigned.
