Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Monticello, IA is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping Associate to operate forklifts and material handling equipment to support shipping, warehouse and manufacturing operations.

You will use RF scanning and ERP to document inventory, assist with cycle counts, and prepare customer orders for outbound shipment. The role requires physical endurance, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety procedures on 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years forklift operating experience or combination of forklift experience and material handling preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long durations.
• Vision abilities including near and far and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Operate designated machinery, forklifts, and material handling equipment for shipping, warehouse, and manufacturing operations.
• Receive, move, store, pick, stage, load, and ship materials per procedures.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment and load onto outbound trucks.
• Use RF scanning and ERP system to track and document materials and inventory transactions.
• Assist with inventory management including cycle counts and daily updates.
• Maintain organized workflow to meet customer requirements and shipping deadlines.
