Lynden Door Inc. is seeking a Shipping Team Member and Forklift Driver to move doors within our Lynden warehouse and organize them safely. You will play a key role in maintaining schedule integrity and efficiency while upholding quality and safety standards.

The position requires 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience, basic door knowledge (training provided), and a strong commitment to safety, detail, and teamwork. Monday–Friday hours with potential overtime and some Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report any quality concerns.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with other departments.
• Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:45pm, with overtime and occasional Saturdays depending on workload.

As a Shipping Team Member and Forklift Driver,

you’ll be responsible for moving doors within the warehouse and organizing them in a way that is both logical and safe. Our warehouse operates like a giant puzzle—materials need to be placed with care and precision to keep things running smoothly and safely. You’ll play a key role in helping the team stay on schedule and maintain a high standard of organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely move and organize doors throughout the warehouse using a forklift.
• Arrange materials in a way that maximizes space and keeps the warehouse organized and efficient.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Identify and report any quality concerns.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate with other departments.

To Be a Forklift Driver, You Need

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with sit-down forklifts.
• A passion for quality work, especially moving product at high volumes carefully. Shipping department forklift drivers are some of the most experienced and skilled in our workforce.
• A keen eye for detail and safety.
• A basic knowledge of door construction types and applications (we will train.)
• A self-motivated, problem-solving mindset.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand 8-9 hours per shift
• Able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs repetitively; occasional 70-90 lbs with assistance
• Ability to operate a forklift safely, including reverse operation using line of sight

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Wage: $21.00 - $23.50 - based on experience
